The Accessibility Map was included in the list of the Best Social IT Initiatives of the Year according to DOU

The barrier-free map, created by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development in partnership with the public organization "LUN Misto", was included in the list of finalists in the nomination "Best Socially Oriented IT Initiative of 2025" of the DOU Award.
The map provides transparency and accessibility of information about the accessibility of Ukrainian communities: it allows residents to check how convenient facilities and routes are for people with different needs, and communities to plan changes based on the data. During the first eight months of operation (May - December 2025), the Accessibility Map collected 1.5 million views.
Today, the Map already displays over 70,000 objects - schools, hospitals, shelters, administrative buildings, transport infrastructure, etc., as well as more than 2,000 locations of barrier-free routes. The data is updated in real time through unified checklists and photo fixation. In December 2025, the Barrier-Free Map became part of the state open data portal.
Other digital solutions are also presented in the same nomination, in particular "Ukrposhta.Apteka" - a service that allows you to order more than 12,000 medical products online, including medicines under the state reimbursement program "Affordable Medicines".
The DOU Award is an annual initiative of the leading IT community, held for the third time, that recognizes innovations that strengthen the Ukrainian IT community and contribute to technological development.
This year, winners will be determined in 12 categories. Voting takes place in several stages and combines the choice of the IT community (50%) and the assessment of an expert group (50%).
The expert commissions included representatives from the IT industry, business, education, the military, and volunteer initiatives.
